July Workshop – Jubilee!

This workshop is soo cute!  I love the colors!  The kit includes the Jubilee Workshop on the go and the complements that match the kit.  I am also adding two additional pattern papers.  We will make two layouts with enough supplies to make at least one if not two additional layouts. The total cost of the workshop is $35.00 and right now I have Friday evening, July 18th at 6 pm and Sat evening, July 19th at 3 pm

 

The stamp of the month is really great this month.  It is an alphabet stamp set with two different fonts and a set of numbers.  If you come to the workshop, you would only need to spend an additional $15 and you can add the below stamp set for $5.

June Workshop

I think you will love the June workshop.  I am keeping it simple and less expensive this month.   This workshop is using the Pennant Frame and a popular way to make a “stand up” card.  This workshop is a great price at just $10.00 and will count toward your hostess club points.  I just have enough supplies for 14 people.  So let me know if you can come.  I only have one night that I can offer the workshop (VBS and CTMH Convention this month)  The date is Monday June 23rd. at 6pm or when ever you can get there.

 

 

Album Boot Camp! A Fundraiser for Jemison Girl Scout Troop 941

 

You do not have to be a scrapbooker to participate in this event! Everything will be precut and designed for you! We will have a fun filled event day on Sat. May 31st at the Jemison First Baptist Church but you do not have to attend to participate. You will have color instructions to go by. You can get the kit, come part of the day or the entire day! The girls will provide lunch. Here is what you get!

• A Close to My Heart faux leather album plus page protectors
• 8 precut and designed 2 page layouts and a cover page (that’s 17 pages!)
• A Desert Sand Stamp pad and sponge dauber
• A D-size stamp set
• Full page step by step instructions with a color photo of each layout.
This is over $100.00 in products.

The cost of the Album Boot Camp is $75.00 with $20.00 going to the Girl Scout Troop. They are raising money to go to Savannah Georgia. The home place of Juliette Lowe founder of the girl scouts. Again, if you can’t join us on May 31st, we will get you the kit. If you can join us – we will have a ton of fun. There will be plenty of help there if you should need it. We will start around 8 am and go to around 8 pm. You can really arrive at anytime that day. All you need to do to secure your kit is provide a $25 deposit with the remaining $50 on the day of the event. Studio J – Katelyn’s first year of rodeo.

I love how quick and easy it was to scrapbook Katelyn’s first rodeo year in Studio J! The bonus – with the click of a button I was able to make two sets – one for me and one for her to keep! I can also add additional dicuts and embellishment’s later to further personalize the layouts. This month the two page layouts are only $5! Let me know if you want me to show you how.

March Workshop

Hey, hope all is well and SPRING will be here soon! I am looking forward to the March workshop. We will be using the Balloon Ride Workshop on the Go. I love this paper and accents! I was looking at the CTMH website for consultants and CTMH had two additional layouts that are not in the catalog that uses the Complements. Soo, like the last Christmas layout workshop I am adding the complements to this kit BUT for FREE!!!! You will only pay for the Workshop on the Go but you will also get the Balloon Ride Complements to complete the layouts. We will do the first two layouts below but I am hoping there is enough paper to do the third one on your own time. I will work with them this weekend. SOOO CUTE! OK, I have ordered 15 kits, so let me know if you can come or if you want a kit.

Feb. Workshop – Frosted

Yeah!  We saved the best for last for this current catalog. I love the Frosted Workshop on the Go!  I love the look of these layouts!

The workshop dates are Sat. Feb 22 at 3 pm and again on Monday night Feb 24 at 6 pm.  The cost is 29.95 plus S & T.   You will make the below two layouts. January Workshop

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year.  May 2014 be the best year!

Below are pictures of my January “Sparkle and Shine” Workshop.  We will be using the Sparkle and Shine Workshop on the Go kit and the Sparkle and Shine Dimensional Elements. The layouts were designed by talented, consultant Dana Kessler.  They are even more AWESOME in person! LOTS of BLING.  We will make 3 layouts using most of the product!  You will also get a D – size stamp set to use in future projects. Since we are making 3 layouts, I will precut and prestamp where possible prior to the workshop!  All you will have to do is assemble how you like.  If you can not make it to the class, you can still get the kit (everything precut and stamped) – just follow the included pictures of the layouts.   I had to purchase the kits prior to Jan. 1st and only purchased 20 kits.  Half of those are already spoken for, so if you would like a kit, please let me know soon.

Upcoming Workshops for Christmas

I have several workshops coming up just in time for Christmas!  Several of these would make great Christmas presents so don’t think you can only do one of each! All of these workshops will be precut and prestamped to make them time efficient.

On Sat. Nov. 23rd we will start at 3 PM with the Christmas tree and ornament workshop (the tree was featured on the Close to My Heart Mini Guide.)  The ornament can also serve as a nice adornment on a package.  The cost of this workshop is $10.00.  The sign is hard to see on the picture – It says “Christmas is love with all the trimmings”

At 4:30 I will have the Mini Calendar workshop.  These are great!  They would make great teachers gifts!  Really anyone who has an office.  You just switch out the page each month.  They are on a nice stand.  The calendar itself was a free download so you could really update the calendar each year with a new printout.  This workshop is $15.00  Again everything will be precut and prestamped. I will also have a printout of how they look if you can’t stay to finish them.

A third workshop will start at 6:00 The larger 12×24 Calendar.  (These can be done independently if you are not done with the prior workshop)  These are AWESOME!  I love them and do several each year as gifts for grandmas and my home and office. I have an amazing album of past year’s calendars.  I usually use the prior years pictures so this is a really nice album. —This year, I used Studio J to make single 12X12 layouts.  We will use the CTMH’s blank calendars to attach the Studio J layouts.  In the workshop you will stamp the months and the 2014 days.  You will then later add your specific photos to the layouts!  This is a really nice gift for $37.00.  They will use them on their wall for a year and then they can detach them and put them in an album. That would make 12 – 12×12 pages in an album.
